On average, refrigeration appliances are responsible for almost 25% of household energy consumption. Siemens is giving away its latest frost free A+++ fridge freezer, which consumes an unbelievable 60% less energy than comparable appliances in energy class A.
Saving energy is paramount to Siemens as is beautiful, clean design, first-class quality and smart thinking. And this top of the range iQ700 model KG36NSB40 ticks all the boxes with its stylish black glass door, a coolBox, ideal for storing meat and fish and a hydroFresh, humidity-controlled drawer which keeps vegetables, salad and fruit fresh for twice as long as a standard fridge compartment.
A key attribute of this model is its frost-free technology that prevents ice from building up on the appliance’s interior walls, protects food from frost deposits and reduces energy consumption.
This model also includes internal electronic controls with temperature display and two cooling circuits to enable separate temperature settings for the fridge and freezer compartments. It also boasts Siemens’ superFreeze function that ensures any additional food added to the freezer (after a shopping trip, for example) is cooled quickly and safely without affecting the temperature of the food already in there and multiAirflow cooling to improve the circulation of air around the fridge.
And with a total net capacity of 286 litres spread over 5 glass shelves in the fridge compartment and 3 freezer drawers, this model has more than enough space for the average family.
The dimensions of this model are: 185H x 60W x 64D cm.
